Business Process Systemization
All successful organizations have well defined business processes. Without having this critical information in an easy to use format, employees waste valuable time and resources "reinventing the wheel" each time they work on tasks. Many great businesses have developed business processes so that they could expand their companies - think of the great McDonald's franchises or the numerous banks with well run branches all over the country. None of those businesses would have been able to be as efficent or deliver a consistent level of service without having FIRST documented how they do business (aka: Business Processes).
Association Management companies should operate in the same manner - having repeatable, consistent and predictable outcomes as a result of a well defined system. The sad news is that very, very few Association Management companies have the time, the resources, or the expertise to create their own business processes from scratch. In fact, if my management company hadn't been required to do so when we franchised it several years ago I wouldn't have taken the thousands of hours and years of effort to document all the business processes in my HOA management company either! Well the good news for those owners of Association Management companies is that I'm now selling this whole program from a fraction of the cost it took us to develop it!
